Beth is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER with over 19 years of experience.  She spent the early years of her career working for UBS and Wells Fargo Advisor. She joined Burt Wealth Advisors in 2015 and it has been the best professional move of her career. Working at an independent financial firm has given her the ability to help clients more completely with their holistic financial needs. She specializes in making sure that her client’s financial investments not only help meet their financial goals, but also maximize tax savings and match their estate planning goals. She strives to make sure that she is not only doing the most for her clients, but also to make sure they have a strong understanding of what we are doing for them. Beth says the biggest compliment she can receive is when a client says “you always explain things in a way that I can understand them”. Building relationships with her clients based on trust and understanding is what Beth says is the most rewarding thing about her job.

When she is not working with clients, Beth loves relaxing with her family – Her husband, daughter (9), son (7) and two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. She lovingly volunteers as a foster mom for various Cavalier rescue groups, so their home is usually full of dogs (which she says her kids love). Her favorite hobby is photography, which comes in handy with having two young kids who won’t stop growing and for the foster dogs who need a great adoption photo.
